Ins & Outs of Brain Fitness for Healthy Aging (Martin Sliwinski, Professor of Human Development and Family Studies, Director for the Center for Healthy Aging)
The way you socialize, how you manage stress, what you eat and drink, and how much you exercise all contribute to your overall health and well-being. These and other aspects of your lifestyle also have a profound impact on your brain health. In this lecture, Dr. Sliwinski will describe several evidenced-based approaches to keeping your brain fit and healthy. He will focus on some recent evidence regarding the effectiveness of computer-based brain training and the benefits of spending time in nature.
