Marty Sliwinski, Professor of Human Development and Family Studies and Director for the Center for Healthy Aging will offer insights on new key ideas emerging within the science of healthy aging. Key questions for this talk include:  How can we influence our own aging, health, and disease susceptibility? How do we know what choices to make and what risk factors to avoid? Science is giving us more information about the effects of the choices we make. Join us for breakfast and updates on the latest research.

Parking Information

From Park Avenue in State College: Travel on Park Avenue until it intersects with Fox Hollow Road (Beaver Stadium is at that intersection). Make a right onto Fox Hollow Road. Make a left at the next light onto Toftrees Avenue. Make the next left onto President's Drive. Go to the end of President's Drive and make a left onto Lions Hill Road. Follow Lions Hill Road past The Atrium, through a stop sign and around a curve. Look for the blue awning on your right which is the main entrance to The Village at Penn State Life Care RetirementCommunity.
