Research Interests

My research focuses on the role of social relationships, particularly loneliness and social isolation, in cognitive health among middle-aged and older adults, examining how these factors manifest in everyday life across different time scales. I am interested in exploring mechanisms through which loneliness may impact cognitive health, such as stress and emotional processes, using ecological momentary assessment (EMA). Ultimately, I aim to examine whether and how short-term dynamics of psychosocial and behavioral factors predict long-term changes in health.
