Over 100 local organizations will showcase their services and volunteer opportunities, including: Health screenings, educational presentations, children’s activities, exhibitor tables with information on health, well-being, human services, housing, transportation, and more.
Brought to you by: Centre County Council for Human Services, Link to Aging and Disability Resource Center, Centre County Partnership for Community Health, the Centre County Affordable Housing Coalition, and the Geriatric Interest Network.
This event will offer opportunity for Penn State student clubs and classes to learn about area organizations that enhance health and well-being, apply academic learning acquired in coursework to a real-life community outreach event, learn about and become involved in community service activities that will broaden understanding of career options, and increase awareness of potential internship sites and careers.
